The Best of Us Six letters, one word that everyone of us needs, change. An inescapable truth wherein everything will have to change, that nothing is permanent in this world except for the word change. A dangerous thing that can frighten anyone. It can be one of the most powerful thing that can occur in the whole universe. It can do wonders in one's life. Change is a new beginning,  a new hope and a new chance for the people who lose hope,  a change for the better as they say. But if accompanied by hatred, anger or evilness that is a different story about the word change to the story of mine. Change only happen if someone will start it, if someone will take an action. And a total change comes with a long process. A change for the better starts with me. It is true that I am still young and that I haven't yet established a name of mine. But I believe that wanting a change for the better needs no appropriate social status or it has an age limit but instead having the will...

The Best of Me I welcomed it with a smile on my face. I started it with the feeling of satisfaction and gratefulness.  It's a new year. New experiences as we go forward,  new chances and opportunities we will encounter along the way and new memories we will build. A fresh start for our goals in life still aiming the same dreams of ours. The year 2018 wasn't easy for me along with the past years because, of course, we experienced and faced a lot of challenges with different levels of difficulty. Looking back made me feel mixed emotions. It made me teary eyed remembering those rough times,  laugh at those crazy moments of mine and smile at those experiences that made me who I am now. And I am so grateful to be there before, to be able to do everything that I have done before. A gift from God to a man and a woman who loved each other. A treasure to a family who gives laughter, strength and also an inspiration to everyone. The hope of a nation and the future of the whole world. The next generation of the human race who will continue what had started and who will change the things that should be changed. A simple environment, a simple life,  a simple way of living. But in today's world with so much advancements and developments, that simple way of living also changes as how these technologies arise. Technology was created to make our life much easier like how gadgets were made. Gadgets were invented to give people entertainment and also to make communication possible despite the distance between them. Nowadays gadgets are somewhat a necessity to every person. Cellphones are used to communicate to someone much easier especially when it is an emergency. In school, gadgets are still needed.  In making projects, doing an activity, accessing the internet and many more. Gadgets help us in a lot of ways but sometimes there are still it's bad effects. At the present time even the younger ones have or using a gadget. They were exposed into the internet where a lot of informations were not suitable for young viewers. Reading has always been a source of knowledge, of happiness, of pleasure, and even moral courage. In today's world with so much advancements and developments, the importance of reading has increased for there are so much more to know and to learn. But back in the olden days, if reading wasn't acquired or taught it wasn't big deal for reading wasn't given an importance back then. Nowadays to be able to read is a must.  For people to live and survive in this world, we should know how to read. Time flies really so fast, the second quarter from my Grade 10 journey has again ended and two more quarters before I will complete my Grade 10 year. I learned more than enough this quarter. We talked all about internet, on how we access the internet and also one of the things that I enjoyed doing was creating an HTML file. It was fun but also challenging. We had learned the different types of internet access and a lot more about html. The challenges that I faced during the second quarter are, again, doing all the articles needed to be submitted. But anyway that was part of being a student, many activities and quizzes to be done. Moving on, I would like to appreciate what I learned from this Quarter and use these again on our own goodness. Also I want to thank my teacher for teaching us that made us do things independently. Thank you because, I know that in the near future we will apply these things.
