The country Philippines is one of the top countries in the world at risk of climate-related disasters. it is known as a disaster-prone country because of its location. Philippines is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire where active volcanoes are found and along the Pacific Ocean particularly in Philippine West Basin where over 18 to 22 typhoons are formed every year.
